In each of the child’s bedroom, there will be a laser multi-function center. The printer will be named bedroom-numberlp. So the 3rd bedroom will be 3lp. This will help make sure the child is connecting with the correct printer. There will be an ADF for scanning and copying. It will of course function as a printer. There is no fax capabilities, but to be honest, I don’t see the fax being anything worth metnioning 15 years from now. If there was something the child needed to send, it can be scanned, and saved as a .jpg, or .pdf file, and attached.
The printer will remain with the bedroom. The child will likely have a printer where they are going next, so they shouldn’t worry about printing. And besides, a new printer is $750+, and they are heavy to carry around from place to place.
