Short answer, not likely. This is why this site is in my imagination domain. I live in subsidized housing for a 1BR apartment. To have one foster child, I will need at least a 2BR apartment. In addition, there is the money issue. I am having a hard enough time taking care of myself. With that said, I can’t afford to care for a foster child, and I wouldn’t want to put a child in the arena of poverty. With that said, I won’t get a foster child until I win a windfall of $5,000,000 net (after taxes). With that money, I will be able to put money into an investment. I will be able to buy a 3BR apartment, and I will have the money to properly care for a child.
