The child will be given a choice of either an Android tablet, or an iPad. If their choice computer is not a Mac, then they might be best with an Android tablet. This will keep the child out of the restrictive walled garden of Apple. This will allow the child to have access to games, and apps while still having access to other resources such as phone, and TV. There will be no stylus with the tablet unless it is included with the price of the tablet. If the child needs a stylus to write with, they will have a writing tablet. Otherwise, they can use some of their cash gift to get a stylus.
When the child leaves my custody, they will be able to keep the tablet as it would be theirs. This should go a long way in helping the child to hopefully develop their interests, and desires.
